An attempt to consider a few thoughts about it.
The multitude of information that we catch with our eyes and generally with all the special senses is sheer incredible. Much of it is hidden as a kind of dark matter in the realm of the subconsciousness.
How do I perceive things? Through what lenses do I see the world? What determines the way I judge? Yes indeed, I’m looking for many answers. The psyche is possibly a field. One speaks of the consciousness and the unconsciousness. Let me concentrate on the consciousness. The melting point of it, so to speak, indeed manifests itself where the focus or, in other words, the presence is. I find it interesting because my field of consciousness was in the past several times partially overlaid by psychoses.
Perhaps it also could be compared to an ocean. One could speak of a sea of thoughts that has a constant movement similar to waves and the current. I could take it further and dive into the unconscious deepness of this ocean. So until I can’t any longer see the light, which is my guide to the surface of awareness. Furthermore, I’d like to call the content of consciousness my conscious spectrum. That is everything on which I wittingly can focus, unlike the unconscious range. But more often than not my focus is unwittingly dictated on by the circumstances. There are interactions at play, so much I believe to know. All in all, it seems to be a complicated interplay between perception and processing. I will ponder further on this and leave it here at the moment.
